After many years of visiting North Carolina from our home in Florida, one year when departing the mountains, our 8 year old daughter Brinkley asked why we can't live at the beach AND in the mountains at the same time.
The remaining 8 hour drive was spent talking about the things we like about being able to enjoy both the Coast and the Country.
We compared the joy of walks on the beach with the thrill of waterfall hikes. We spoke about memories of both snorkeling and rafting.
From that reflective trip, Coast to Country was born.
